About The Talley Law Firm

Andrew Talley is the attorney and founder of The Talley Law Firm, PLLC in Friendswood, Texas, serving clients across the Houston area and beyond. He helps individuals and businesses navigate family law, estate planning, real estate transactions, and commercial matters with a clear plan, steady communication, and disciplined execution.
Legal issues often intersect—a divorce may involve a closely held business, an estate plan may need to account for commercial real estate, or a business dispute may threaten personal assets. When the stakes are high, clients benefit from counsel who understands how these pieces fit together and can move efficiently across practice areas.
Before founding the firm, Andrew worked in hands-on, business-side roles—serving as General Counsel & VP at a towboat and barge line and later as CEO of a Houston export services and logistics business. He’s negotiated major contracts, managed personnel issues, handled customer & vendor disputes, and made judgment calls under time pressure. That experience means clients get advice grounded in real-world practicality—not theoretical risk-aversion that ignores how decisions actually play out in people’s lives.
Andrew built The Talley Law Firm to serve as trusted outside counsel for clients who want a lawyer invested in their long-term success, not just the immediate matter. Whether protecting a family’s future, structuring a business transaction, or resolving a dispute, he focuses on outcomes that hold up over time.
